In the full year, the total retail sales of social consumer goods amounted to RMB1,387.77 billion, a year-on-year increase of 12.0%. By the operation location, retail sales of urban consumer goods were RMB1,115.17 billion, an increase of 11.7%; retail sales of rural consumer goods were RMB272.61 billion, an increase of 13.2%. In terms of consumption patterns, retail sales of goods reached RMB1,192.17 billion, up 11.9%; catering incomes were RMB195.6 billion, up 12.3%. Among enterprises above designated size, retail sales of goods through the Internet amounted to RMB33.31 billion, up 78.7% over the previous year.

In terms of retail sales of major goods in enterprises (units) above designated size, those of food, beverages, alcoholic drinks and tobacco increased by 19.1%, those of clothing, shoes and hats, knitted fabrics increased by 12.3%, those of daily necessities increased by 19.4% and those of cosmetics increased by 15.7%. Those of gold and silver jewelry increased by 5.0%, those of household appliances and audio-visual equipment increased by 10.9%, those of Chinese and Western medicines increased by 17.3%, those of furniture grew by 20.3%, those of construction and decoration materials increased by 13.8%, those of automobiles raised by 6.3%, and those of petroleum and products declined by 3.6%.

All through the year, the province received domestic tourists of 0.59 billion person times, up 9.2% over the previous year. The domestic tourism revenue reached RMB613.76 billion, up 26.9%. The province received inbound tourists of 2.732 million person times, an increase of 14.1%, and achieved tourism foreign exchange earnings of USD1.18 billion, up 37.9%. The total number of outbound tourists organized by the province's travel agencies was 1.958 million persons, an increase of 58.2%. The annual total tourism incomes were RMB621.05 billion, an increase of 27.0%.
