Explore New Modes for Cooperation and Open up the Third-Party Market Together
4月24日，乔方书记与缅甸澳大利亚商会代表团一行座谈，并就加强川澳经贸合作并携手共同开拓缅甸等第三方市场进行探讨和交流。
During a seminar held on April 24, Secretary Qiao Fang, together with the chamber of commerce delegations of Myanmar and Australia, conducted a discussion and exchange on enhancing the economic and trade cooperation between Sichuan and Australia, and on cooperating to open up the third-party market such as Myanmar.
乔方书记就四川基本省情和对外开放情况、川澳、川缅等经贸合作交流情况向来访代表团作了全面的介绍，并就进一步深化川澳合作，携手推动与第三方市场的交流合作提出了建议。乔方书记表示，四川正在大力实施全面开放战略，深度融入“一带一路”建设、长江经济带发展、新一轮西部开发开放等重大战略，加快形成“四向拓展、全域开放”立体全面开放新态势，不断提升开放型经济水平，我们应充分发挥好川、澳、缅各方优势，把握好发展机遇，携手探索合作新模式。
Secretary Qiao Fang made a comprehensive introduction of Sichuan’s basic information, opening-up as well as the economic and trade cooperation with Australia and Myanmar, and he also put forward suggestions on further deepening Sichuan-Australia cooperation and jointly promoting the exchange and cooperation with the third-party market. As Secretary Qiao Fang said, Sichuan is implementing the strategy of comprehensive opening-up, and is further integrating into such national strategies as the “Belt and Road” Initiative, the development of the Yangtze Economic Belt and the new round of development and opening-up of the western region. With the priority given to the formation of a new trend of three-dimensional and comprehensive opening-up of “expanding in all directions and all-round opening-up”, and to the development of open economy, we should take full advantages of Sichuan, Australia and Myanmar, and seize the development opportunities, so as to work together to explore new modes for cooperation.
澳大利亚贸易投资委员会高级贸易投资专员唐杰夫先生、澳大利亚贸易投资委员会贸易投资专员白天伟先生、澳大利亚商会-缅甸会长克里斯·休斯先生等对川澳之间合作取得的成效表示充分的肯定，希望进一步挖掘潜力，深入推动川澳经贸务实合作。来自矿业、电力工程、法律、金融、租赁、物流、房地产、涂料等领域的相关企业负责人详细介绍了其有关业务情况，并就在缅发展情况以及下一步川澳缅三方共同合作提出了建议意见。
Mr. Jeff Tunrner, Senior Trade Commissioner of Australian Trade and Investment Commission, Mr. Tim White, Trade and Investment Commissioner of Australian Trade and Investment Commission, and Mr. Christopher Hughes, Chairman of AustCham Myanmar, such leaders have highly acclaimed the results made in the cooperation between Sichuan and Australia, hoping to further tap the potential and to advance the practical economic and trade cooperation between the two sides. Responsible persons of relevant enterprises in the fields of mining, power engineering, law, finance, leasing, logistics, real estate, and coating gave the detailed introduction of their business, and proposed advice about the development in Myanmar and the future cooperation among the three sides.
国际处、贸发处、服贸处、国际合作产业推进处、外经处负责人参加座谈并就探索合作新模式，携手开拓第三方市场与来访团进行了探讨并提出建议意见。
Personnel in charge of the International Economic and Trade Relations Division, the Foreign Trade Development Division, the Service Trade & Business Service Division, the International Cooperation Industry Promotion Division, and the Foreign Economic Cooperation Division attended the seminar, discussed with the delegations and put forward their recommendations for exploring the new modes for cooperation and opening up the third-party market. |
