Deputy Director Yu Bin Conducts a Symposium with Australian Consul General Christopher Lim and Other Guests
4月9日，于滨副厅长在厅机关与澳大利亚驻成都总领事馆总领事及澳大利亚驻华经贸机构有关代表等一行座谈，并就加强川澳经贸合作有关事宜进行交流。
On April 9, Yu Bin, Deputy Director of Sichuan Provincial Department of Commerce, conducted a symposium with Christopher Lim, Consul General of Australia in Chengdu, and relevant representatives of Australian economic and trade institutions in China in the agency of Sichuan Provincial Department of Commerce. The two parties exchanged views in respect of strengthening the economic and trade cooperation between Sichuan and Australia.
于滨副厅长表示，四川正在加快形成“四向拓展、全域开放”立体全面开放新态势，高度重视与澳大利亚等南向国家及有关地区的交流合作。川澳合作基础好，互补性强，双方在经贸、环保、能源、医疗、教育、文化旅游等多方面合作潜力大，希望继续与澳大利亚驻成都总领馆、澳大利亚驻华经贸机构等加强合作，搭建好平台，推动川澳经贸合作及企业交流。于滨副厅长还就澳方所关心的事宜进行了积极回应。
Yu Bin indicated that as Sichuan is accelerating the formation of a new trend of three-dimensional and comprehensive opening up of “expanding in all directions and all-round open-up”, it attaches great importance to the exchange and cooperation with Australia and other countries and regions in Southern Sichuan. Since Sichuan and Australia boast a strong basis of cooperation and are complementary to each other, the two parties have competitive potential for cooperation in such aspects as economy and trade, environmental protection, energy, medical treatment, education and cultural tourism. Sichuan hopes to enhance cooperation with the Consulate General of Australia in Chengdu, Australian economic and trade institutions in China and other institutions, and establish platforms to promote the economic and trade cooperation as well as enterprise communication between Sichuan and Australia. Yu Bin also responded actively to issues of concern to Australia.
澳大利亚驻成都总领事馆总领事林明皓先生表示，澳大利亚对与四川的合作给予了巨大期望，希望双方合作继续向宽领域、多样化、深度化、创新化方向发展，携手共同推动成果性、务实性合作。澳大利亚贸易投资委员会大中华区总经理包狄先生、澳大利亚昆士兰州大中华区贸易投资专员朱莉女士、澳大利亚维多利亚贸易投资署大中华区副专员任丽莎女士等澳大利亚驻华经贸机构代表就川澳合作取得的成效、澳大利亚及澳大利亚有关州产业优势及下一步川澳合作方向进行了交流。
Christopher Lim indicated that Australia has great expectations for its cooperation with Sichuan, and hopes that the two parties will conduct diverse, innovative and in-depth cooperation in a wide range of areas, so as to make joint efforts to boost fruitful and practical cooperation. Representatives of Australian economic and trade institutions in China, such as Daniel Boyer, General Manager of Greater China of Australian Trade and Investment Commission, Julie-Anne Nichols, Queensland Trade and Investment Commissioner for China, and Lisa Renkin, Deputy Commissioner for Greater China of Victorian Government Trade and Investment, exchanged views in terms of the achievements made in Sichuan-Australia cooperation, industrial advantages of Australia and relevant states and the direction for next-step cooperation between the two parties.
国际处、贸发处、服贸处、外资处、外经处负责人参加会见并就来访团关心的相关事宜进行了交流和回应。
Personnel in charge of the International Economic and Trade Relations Office, the Foreign Trade Development Office, the Service Trade & Business Service Office, the Foreign Capital Promotion & Management Office and the Foreign Economic Cooperation Office of Sichuan Provincial Department of Commerce attended the symposium and discussed and responded issues concerned by guests. |
