According to the monitoring of MOFCOM, last week (March 9-15), the national market price of the edible agricultural products decreased by 1.2% from the previous week, and the price of the means of production dropped by 1% from the previous week.

In the market of edible agricultural products, the grain price was stable in general, with the wholesale prices of rice and flour staying unchanged from the previous week. The price of edible oil fluctuated slightly, with the wholesale prices of soybean oil and peanut oil both down 0.2% and the wholesale price of rapeseed oil up 0.3%. The price of meat decreased to various degrees. To be more specific, the wholesale price of pork was 49.02 yuan per kilogram, down 0.2%, and the wholesale prices of beef and mutton decreased by 0.1% and 0.5% respectively. The wholesale price of poultry products decreased slightly with the wholesale prices of chicken and eggs down 1.5% and 1% respectively. The price of aquatic products dropped slightly, with the wholesale prices of large hairtail, grass carp and carp down 2.8%, 1.4% and 0.8% respectively. The average wholesale price of 30 kinds of vegetables was 5.21 yuan per kilogram, down 4.6%, with the prices of long beans, bitter gourd and green pepper down 9.9%, 8.9% and 8.7% respectively. The average wholesale price of 6 kinds of fruits dropped by 0.9% with the prices of apple, pear, watermelon, and citrus down 1.9%, 1.8%、1.1% and 1% respectively.

In the market of production means, the price of non-ferrous metals decreased slightly, with the prices of aluminum, copper and zinc down 3.7%, 2.2% and 1.8% respectively. The price of rubber dropped slightly, with the prices of natural rubber and synthetic rubber down 0.8% and 0.7% respectively. The prices of basic chemical raw materials fluctuated slightly, with the prices of methyl alcohol, polypropylene and sulphuric acid down 1.8%, 0.4% and 0.3% respectively, and the price of sodium carbonate up 0.4%. The price of steel dropped slightly. To be more specific, the prices of high-speed wire rods, screw-thread steel, U-steel and hot rolled strip were 3,935 yuan, 3,835 yuan 3,998 yuan and 3,963 yuan per ton respectively, down 0.4%, 0.4%, 0.3% and 0.2% respectively. The price of coal dropped slightly. Specifically, the prices of steam coal, coking coal and blind coal were 579 yuan, 746 yuan and 925 yuan per ton respectively, down 0.3%, 0.1% and 0.1% respectively. The price of chemical fertilizers rose slightly, with the prices of urea and NPK up 0.6% and 0.3% respectively.
