The idea put forward by economic and information departments of Sichuan and Chongqing in their first face-to-face communication 20 days ago came into reality. On May 19, the economic and information departments and communications administrations of Sichuan and Chongqing signed a strategic cooperation agreement on Chengdu-Chongqing industrial Internet integration development demonstration zone, proposing to jointly build industrial Internet, build the Chengdu-Chongqing industrial Internet integration development demonstration zone, and create a new demonstration center in China.

　　The agreement showcased one of the important measures taken by Sichuan and Chongqing to jointly promote the coordinated development of the manufacturing industry in the Chengdu-Chongqing economic circle and build the "fourth pole" of China's manufacturing industry.

　　According to the agreement, Sichuan and Chongqing will give full play to their respective advantages in policy, industry and resources, give prominence to the integrated development of networks, platforms, security, ecology and environment, focus on the connectivity, co-building and sharing of new infrastructure, the cooperation and complementation of platform resources, the sharing of security oversight information, the mutual promotion of industrial ecology and the co-creation of a good environment, and pool resources such as industries, technologies, talent, data and production factors through industrial Internet, so as to promote the construction of the Chengdu-Chongqing economic circle that coordinates regions, industries and enterprises.

　　The cooperation will take place through concrete actions in five areas: building the industrial Internet identity analysis system, building the industrial Internet integration public service platform in the Chengdu-Chongqing region, building the Chengdu-Chongqing integration industrial Internet security system, strengthening the policy coordination on industrial Internet innovation and development in Chengdu-Chongqing region, establishing the Chengdu-Chongqing industrial Internet industry innovation alliance.
