| In the whole year, the province made a total investment in fixed assets of RMB2.59737 trillion, up 10.2% over the previous year, of which the investment in fixed assets (excluding farmers) was RMB2.49656 trillion, up 10.2%. From the industry, the investment in the primary industry added up to RMB84.01 billion, up 31.8%; the investment in the secondary industry was RMB746.2 billion, up 3.5%, of which the industrial investment was 736.1 billion, up 2.7%; the investment in the tertiary industry amounted to RMB1.76716 trillion, an increase of 12.4%.
In this year, investment in real estate development was RMB481.3 billion, up 9.9% over the previous year. The commercial housing construction area was 389.814 million square meters, an increase of 6.8%. The commercial housing selling area was 76.712 million square meters, an increase of 7.4%.
