9月29日,由商务部、中央广播电视总台、四川省人民政府联合主办的“双智新品 供需适配”对接交流暨第三届中国(四川)国际熊猫消费节在成都启动。

On September 29, the Supply and Demand Matchmaking Event for ICV and Smart Home Appliance and the 3rd China (Sichuan) International Panda Consumption Festival—jointly hosted by the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China (MOFCOM), China Media Group, and the People's Government of Sichuan Province—kicked off in Chengdu.

The event was attended by Wang Xiaohui, Secretary of the Sichuan Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC) and Chairman of the Standing Committee of the Sichuan Provincial People's Congress; Shi Xiaolin, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Sichuan Provincial Committee and Governor of Sichuan Province; Fan Yun, Deputy Editor-in-chief at China Media Group; Cao Lijun, Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Sichuan Provincial Committee and Secretary of the CPC Chengdu Municipal Committee; Chen Wei, Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Sichuan Provincial Committee and Secretary-General of the CPC Sichuan Provincial Committee; Zuo Yongxiang, Deputy Governor of Sichuan Province; Wang Fengchao, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Chengdu Municipal Committee and Mayor of Chengdu; Wu Fengwu, Deputy Director of the Department of Circulation Industry Development of MOFCOM; and Wu Yabin, Director of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization's Investment and Technology Promotion Offices in Beijing.

熊猫消费节是四川全面促进消费、推进高水平对外开放的重要功能性平台和重大标志性活动。本届消费节将持续到11月30日,突出消费品以旧换新,包括发展服务新消费、培育绿色新品质、融合国际新元素、发放惠民新礼包,吸引了四川2.89万户消费服务市场主体踊跃参与。近年来,四川坚持“政策+活动+场景”三轮驱动,全力营造品质供给、品尚引领、品味生活和国际化消费服务环境。去年,四川社会消费品零售总额达到2.63万亿元,居全国第5位。

The China (Sichuan) International Panda Consumption Festival is an important functional platform and a significant landmark event for Sichuan to promote consumption and advance high-level opening-up comprehensively. This year's Festival will last until November 30, emphasizing an old-for-new exchange of consumer goods. Key initiatives include promoting new service consumption, fostering new eco-friendly quality, integrating new international elements, and distributing public-benefit gift packages, having drawn the participation of 28,900 consumption service market entities in Sichuan. In recent years, Sichuan has embraced a triad approach of "policy + events + scenarios", aiming to foster an international consumer service environment that emphasizes quality supply, trendsetting leadership, and refined lifestyles. Last year, Sichuan's total retail sales of consumer goods reached RMB 2.63 trillion, ranking fifth in the country.

Representatives from businesses, business associations, and consumers jointly launch this year's Festival.

活动现场公布了四川第三批入选中华老字号的10个品牌并发放“蜀里安逸”消费惠民大礼包。商超、餐饮、电商等上万家市场主体,将开展打折让利、满减优惠、消费券发放、降低服务佣金、直播带货等多种促销活动。

At the event, 10 brands from Sichuan that made it onto the third batch of "Chinese Time-honored Brands" were announced, and the "Enjoy Life in Sichuan" public-benefit consumption gift packages were handed out. Thousands of market entities, including supermarkets, restaurants, and e-commerce platforms, will launch a variety of promotional activities, such as discounts, post-enough-spending special offers, distributing consumer vouchers, reducing service fees, and live-streaming sales.

本届消费节期间还将发布2024年度“蜀里安逸”消费新场景。“蜀里安逸”是四川着力打造的消费品牌体系,通过“消费+”行动,农商文旅体教康多元融合,更好地满足了人民群众对美好生活的向往。今年新评选出的40个消费新场景,涵盖“潮品嗨购、不夜天府、味美四川、逸趣田园、和美邻里、乐游蜀地、数字生活、驾享未来、脉动健身、乐活康养”十大类别。目前四川已培育打造80个消费新场景,构筑起四川消费的“热力图”。

During this year's Festival, the 2024 "Enjoy Life in Sichuan" new consumption scenarios will be unveiled. "Enjoy Life in Sichuan" is a consumption brand system that Sichuan is committed to developing. Through the "Consumption +" initiative, it integrates various sectors such as agriculture, commerce, culture, tourism, sports, education, and healthcare, effectively meeting the public's aspirations for a better life. This year, 40 new consumption scenarios have been selected, encompassing 10 categories: "Trendy Shopping", "Sleepless Chengdu", "Sichuan Delicacies", "Charming Countryside", "Harmonious Neighborhoods", "Joyful Travel in Sichuan", "Digital Living", "Enjoy Driving into the Future", "Dynamic Fitness", and "Happy Wellness". Currently, Sichuan has developed 80 new consumption scenarios, creating a "thermodynamic diagram" of consumption in the region.

The attendees of the event included heads from the relevant departments of China Media Group and Sichuan Station; heads from the relevant departments directly led and managed by the People's Government of Sichuan Province and the governments of various cities and prefectures; heads of commerce authorities in other cities and provinces (including Chongqing and Guizhou Province); representatives from seven consulates (including Australia and Singapore) in Chengdu; representatives from seven economic and trade promotion agencies and business associations (including the Netherlands Council for Trade Promotion), and representatives from businesses.
