On December 12, the Sichuan-Chongqing Free Trade Collaborative Opening-up Demonstration Zone Industry Matchmaking Meeting, hosted by the Chongqing Municipal Commission of Commerce, the Sichuan Provincial Department of Commerce, and the People's Government of Yongchuan District of Chongqing, was successfully held in Yongchuan, Chongqing. Wu Ge, a member of the Leading Party Member Group of the Sichuan Provincial Department of Commerce and Deputy Director of the China (Sichuan) Pilot Free Trade Zone Office attended the meeting and delivered a speech.

Wu Ge pointed out that since its establishment, the China (Sichuan) Pilot Free Trade Zone has fully implemented 159 pilot reform tasks, with 14 achievements replicated and promoted nationwide. Over the past five years of Sichuan-Chongqing free trade cooperation, it has propelled multidimensional and multilevel exchanges and mutual learning between the pilot free trade zones, collaborative reform pilot areas, and interconnected innovation zones, fostering the development of a series of distinctive Sichuan-Chongqing cases like "Customs-Bank One-Key Pass". Next, Sichuan will join hands with Chongqing to further emphasize national strategic orientation and Sichuan-Chongqing target orientation. The focus will be on promoting trade and investment facilitation at a high level, constructing an efficient international logistics hub, fostering a high-quality open industrial system, establishing high-level open platforms, and creating a world-class international business environment for enhanced cooperation with Chongqing. Especially in terms of industrial collaboration, efforts will be made to promote the coordinated development of industries such as new energy vehicles, intelligent connected vehicles, biopharmaceuticals, and the digital economy, while exploring the advancement of technology transfer and sci-tech innovation through collaborative synergy.

The event showcased 10 Sichuan-Chongqing free trade collaborative innovation cases, including the "one integrated license" Sichuan-Chongqing unified processing reform, establishing a coordinated mechanism for the "Five Ends" of the Chengdu-Chongqing automotive industry, constructing a Chengdu-Chongqing cross-border road transport cooperation mechanism, and Sichuan-Chongqing intellectual property joint construction, protection, and innovation. 10 key projects in advanced materials, intelligent equipment, and new energy fields were signed. Zigong in Sichuan made a presentation on key industries. The event also featured the Handover Ceremony for the Chairman of the Southern Sichuan-Western Chongqing Free Trade Collaborative Reform and Interconnected Innovation Alliance, with the China (Sichuan) Pilot Free Trade Zone's Southern Sichuan Port Area becoming the next rotating unit of the alliance.

The event was attended by officials from the Sichuan Provincial Department of Commerce, the Chongqing Municipal Commission of Commerce, the CPC Yongchuan District Committee of Chongqing, as well as relevant departments and enterprise leaders from the China (Sichuan) Pilot Free Trade Zone and China (Chongqing) Pilot Free Trade Zone, collaborative reform pilot areas, and interconnected innovation zones.
