I. Overview of E-commerce Development in Sichuan
From January to December 2024, Sichuan's online transaction value reached RMB 4,980.97 billion, with a year-on-year increase of 5.8%.
Online retail sales amounted to RMB 954.88 billion, up by 10.1% year on year. Material object-oriented online retail sales reached RMB 665.57 billion, an increase of 8.7% year on year. Service-oriented online retail sales amounted to RMB 289.31 billion, achieving a year-on-year growth rate of 13.2%.
Rural online retail sales realized an amount of RMB 289.39 billion, up by 13.3% year on year.
The online retail sales of agricultural products reached RMB 57.2 billion, a year-on-year increase of 13.7%.

II. Overview of E-commerce Development in Cities (Prefectures)
By region, Chengdu, Leshan, and Mianyang achieved online retail sales of RMB 660.95 billion, RMB 48.49 billion, and RMB 39.98 billion, respectively, accounting for 69.2%, 5.1%, and 4.2% respectively, ranking among the top three cities (prefectures).
—Regarding material object-oriented online retail sales, Chengdu, Mianyang, and Leshan achieved the amount of RMB 475.75 billion, RMB 33.62 billion, and RMB 22 billion, respectively, accounting for 71.5%, 5.1%, and 3.3% respectively, ranking among the top three cities (prefectures).
—Regarding service-oriented online retail sales, Chengdu, Leshan, and Aba Prefecture achieved the amount of RMB 185.2 billion, RMB 26.49 billion, and RMB 9.41 billion, respectively, accounting for 64.0%, 9.2%, and 3.3% respectively, ranking among the top three cities (prefectures).
III. Overview of E-commerce Development in Various Industries
In terms of material object-oriented online retail sales, food and healthcare products, online catering, and 3C (computer, communication, and consumer electronics) products ranked among the top three, with online retail sales of RMB 151.58 billion, RMB 132.76 billion, and RMB 94.57 billion, respectively, accounting for 22.8%, 19.9%, and 14.2% respectively.
In terms of service-oriented online retail sales, online travel, life services, and leisure and entertainment ranked among the top three, with online retail sales of RMB 157.08 billion, RMB 47.34 billion, and RMB 33.86 billion, respectively, accounting for 54.3%, 16.4%, and 11.7% respectively.
